On the day of the annual gala, the atmosphere at the factory was different from usual.
A balloon arch stood at the entrance, with the sign-in desk beside it. People who usually wore work uniforms had changed into new clothes. The first words upon meeting were not "How much output today?" but "You came early this year."

After signing in and walking inside, the tables in the hall were already set out, with red tablecloths and white chair covers, arranged table by table all the way to the wall.
II. Review: Going through 2023 from beginning to end
The first half of the annual gala was the review.
What was accomplished in 2023, what difficulties were encountered, which targets were met, and which ones fell just short—these things are talked about in the workshop every day, but standing on stage and saying them word for word carries a different weight.

III. Awards: The Weight of a Certificate
At the annual meeting, the company recognized a group of employees who had performed outstandingly in 2023.
The certificates were red, one for each person. Taking it from the leader's hand, shaking hands, turning around, facing the audience—below the stage, people applauded and held up their phones to take photos, a whole flurry of them.
Those who went on stage wore all kinds of things: some wore work uniforms, some wore newly bought jackets, and some had specially borrowed suits. While standing on stage, some kept smiling, and some held their certificates especially high.
The certificate is not thick, but holding it in hand, it has weight—it was earned by getting the year's work done, one task at a time.

After the recognition ceremony ended, the award recipients gathered together again to take a group photo.

V. On Stage: Hosting, Announcing, and Interaction
The hosts for the entire annual meeting were two of the company's own colleagues, one male and one female.

Black suit, microphone, a stack of red scripts in hand—linking segments, announcing acts, cue the program, one item after another, keeping a steady pace.
There were also interactive segments in between—the host asked a question from the stage, and people in the audience responded, laughing together.
VI. Dinner: Eat, Watch, and Raise a Glass
The second half of the annual meeting was the dinner, and it ran concurrently from the very start of the awards—the program continued on stage while the meal was already underway below.

Round tables were set, and both red and white wine were opened. The host was still speaking on stage, but some people below had already risen, carrying their glasses to the next table.

A table of people stood up to clink glasses; the glasses met with a sound louder than the microphone.

The people at this table are from the workshop, and the people at that table are from the office. Usually everyone is busy with their own work, and it is rare to sit together for a meal even once in the whole year.
7. 2024, keep going
A company annual meeting is half looking back and half setting off.
2023 has come to an end. The orders, delivery dates, quality, and deliveries for 2024 are all waiting ahead one by one.
The eight characters "Unite hearts and gather strength, create brilliance together" hang on the wall, and they are also what must be put into practice on the workshop floor in the coming year.
