Product overview
Large-cylinder AW-S series single-acting pneumatic actuators use a scotch-yoke mechanism with integral return springs. They return automatically when the air supply is interrupted to protect on-site process safety. Available in AW35S/AW40S/AW50S sizes, they offer standard 90° rotation with custom options. Steel or grey cast iron cylinders and end caps provide rigidity and load resistance, with maximum air supply pressure of 8bar. Various seal materials accommodate demanding ambient-, low- and high-temperature conditions.
They support on/off shut-off and modulating control with universal or custom connections, and can be equipped with solenoid valves, valve positioners, manual operators and other automation accessories. Designed specifically for large valves, they suit heavy-duty automated fluid control in chemicals, oil and gas, and similar applications.
