Product overview
Return springs are core components of single-acting spring-return pneumatic actuators. Installed inside the cylinder, their strong elastic force provides automatic return on air loss to meet process pipeline safety shut-off requirements. Made from highly elastic special alloy steel, the springs undergo high-temperature quenching and anti-corrosion passivation. Their high fatigue strength prevents deformation and breakage during prolonged high-frequency compression and extension, maintaining consistent spring force.
They fit different sizes of single-acting HG, AW and GS series actuators, matching the torque requirements of the full range of ball valves, butterfly valves and shut-off valves. Multiple spring-force ratings allow precise selection. When the air supply fails, they quickly return the actuator to close the valve and prevent leakage incidents caused by continued fluid flow. They are widely used in hazardous chemical, gas and other pipelines requiring safety shut-off, reducing the risk of spring fatigue failure.
