Declutchable Manual Override
Manual valve-operating clutch for emergency opening and closing after air supply failure
Product overview
The declutchable manual override is an emergency operating accessory for pneumatic actuators, allowing manual opening and closing of valves after air loss, power loss or automation failure. It mounts directly on the valve stem above the actuator, with a compact structure that takes no extra space. Moving the selector switches between automatic and manual modes without interference; during automatic operation, the manual parts do not rotate idly with the stem.
It suits the full range of pneumatic actuators for ball valves, butterfly valves and shut-off valves, in both carbon steel and stainless steel service. The rust- and wear-resistant housing withstands prolonged outdoor or damp workshop use without readily corroding or sticking, and permits manual operation without dismantling the valve. It is an essential safety accessory for shutdown maintenance and air-supply failures on critical chemical, gas, water-supply and drainage pipelines.
